Welcome to the portal for 2023 International Conference, jointly organised by Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL), Singapore Chinese Teachers' Union (SCTU) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic School of Humanities and Social Sciences (NP HMS). If you continue to browse and use this portal, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy, govern the organizing committee’s relationship with you in relation to this portal. The term ‘organizing committee’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL), Singapore Chinese Teachers’ Union (SCTU) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic School of Humanities and Social Sciences (NP HMS), of which we are the owners of the portal, with our registered office as follow:

If you are only browsing this portal, we do not capture data that allows us to identify you individually.

Controlling your personal information
Subject to certain exceptions in the Act, you may request to review and update the personal data currently in our possession or withdraw your consent for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in our possession. Please submit your request to sccl_tlcsl2023@sccl.sg
If you request to access your personal information, we will ask you to verify your identity and specify what information you wish to access. The organizing committee will provide you with the relevant personal data within a reasonable time after the request has been made. A fee may be charged for handling the request and you will be notified in advance of this.
For a request to correct your personal data, the organizing committee will correct your personal data as soon as practicable after verifying your identity.
The organizing committee will similarly process your request within a reasonable time after a request to withdraw consent has been made.
In view of the Covid-19 situation, this event may be postponed. If you cannot make it on the new dates, you will be delighted to know that we allow substitution of attendees with no penalty. As the event is postponed and not cancelled, please kindly note the terms and conditions still stands and states that no refund will be issued in the case of postponement. We seek your kindest understanding in this matter.
